İNGİLTERE PREMIERSHIP 13. HAFTANIN(WEEK 13) GÖRÜNÜMÜ
Team of the Week
Cristiano Ronaldo's two goals in as many minutes earn him our Player of the Week award, and he is joined by team mate Ryan Giggs. Spurs duo Jermaine Jenas and Dimitar Berbatov made the most of an awful Wigan, while Lee Bowyer's brace marked him out as the best in a rampant West Ham side. The back five conceded two goals between them.
Tim Howard (Everton) - 42
Wayne Bridge (Chelsea) - 36
Richard Dunne (Manchester City) - 38
Joleon Lescott (Everton) - 38
Glen Johnson (Portsmouth) - 36
Ryan Giggs (Manchester United) - 39
Lee Bowyer (West Ham) - 39
Jermaine Jenas (Tottenham Hotspur) - 38
Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United) - 41
Dimitar Berbatov (Tottenham Hotspur) - 39
Kenwyne Jones (Sunderland) - 37
Flops of the Week
The good news for Derby fans is that they only have two players in this week's Flops XI. The bad news is that is only because the Latics contribute a massive six men to the side, including Flop of the Week David Cotterill, who didn't even make it to half time at White Hart Lane. David Dunn also had his day's work cut short, while Middlesbrough 'strike' pairing Tuncay and Aliadiere are giving boss Gareth Southgate a real headache.
Chris Kirkland (Wigan Athletic) - 20
Andy Griffin (Derby County) - 21
Marc Edworthy (Derby County) - 20
Titus Bramble (Wigan Athletic) - 20
Mario Melchiot (Wigan Athletic) - 21
Ryan Taylor (Wigan Athletic) - 21
David Dunn (Blackburn Rovers) - 19
Josip Skoko (Wigan Athletic) - 20
David Cotterill (Wigan Athletic) - 18
Jeremie Aliadiere (Middlesbrough) - 21
Tuncay Sanli (Middlesbrough) - 23
Team of the Season (minimum seven starts)
Cesc - who plays on Monday - is still Top of the Pops, with England duo Gerrard and Rooney not far behind. Kenwyne Jones continues to show what a canny buy he was for Sunderland.
Robert Green (West Ham) - 34.17 average
Charles N'Zogbia (Newcastle United) - 31.55
Christopher Samba (Blackburn Rovers) - 34.58
Kolo Toure (Arsenal) - 34.36
Steve Finnan (Liverpool) - 32.33
Niko Kranjcar (Portsmouth) - 34.29
Francesc Fabregas (Arsenal) - 36.09
Steven Gerrard (Liverpool) - 35.33
Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United) - 34.11
Wayne Rooney (Manchester United) - 35.86
Kenwyne Jones (Sunderland) - 34.38
Idiots of the Season
Paul Robinson's average is starting to creep up, but he still has a lot of ground to gain. The same goes for his England colleague Michael Owen. If you're a Derby fan, look away now.
Paul Robinson (Tottenham Hotspur) - 28.73
Andy Griffin (Derby County) - 26
Dean Leacock (Derby County) - 27.71
Claude Davis (Derby County) - 27.73
Tyrone Mears (Derby County) - 27.55

Brynjar Gunnarsson (Reading) - 27.1
Denny Landzaat (Wigan Athletic) - 27.11
Craig Fagan (Derby County) - 27

İNGİLTERE PREMIERSHIP 14. HAFTANIN(WEEK 14) GÖRÜNÜMÜ
Prem Team Of The Weak: Round 14
Goalkeeper
Jussi Jaaskelainen (Bolton): It wasn't the best week for goalkeepers in England, but the Finn produced a few quality saves to keep Manchester United at bay, and to just about pip Wigan's Mike Pollit to this spot.
Defenders
Lucas Neill (West Ham): A man of the match display against Tottenham to grab a hard-earned point for the Hammers - who could well have had more with some luck.
Ivan Campo (Bolton): A domineering display against what was some onslaught from the Manchester United attacking force. Slots into the defence this week for want of space in midfield.
Olof Mellberg (Aston Villa): The Juventus target once again showed off his physical and aerial prowess as his team heaped further misery on Middlesbrough and Gareth Southgate.
Stephen Warnock (Blackburn): The full-back had his best game of the season, impressing at both ends of the pitch and being rewarded with a goal, and the man of the match award for his efforts.
Midfielders
Steven Gerrard (Liverpool): The Reds' skipper turned his international disappointment into the perfect motivation, and Newcastle felt the full weight of his brilliance.
Kevin Nolan (Bolton): Like many times in the past, was the force that held the Trotters together in the face of adversity, helping them to what is undoubtedly their biggest result of the year.
Papa Bouba Diop (Portsmouth): The 29-year-old Senegalese won absolutely everything in the middle of the pitch as Portsmouth came through a cagey start to eventually run out comfortable winners against Birmingham City.
Mikel Arteta (Everton): An absolute star. Almost everything Everton did in their 7-1 mauling of Sunderland went through him. The much wanted Spaniard is Goal.com's MVP of the week.
Strikers
Tim Cahill (Everton): The Australian international is back in top form after his injury worry, and was an integral part of a magical afternoon for the club. The David Moyes era continues to surprise naysayers.
Aiyegbeni Yakubu (Everton): Sunderland simply did not know what hit them, and it was the Nigerian who softened them up with his combination of physique and pace. Two more goals to show for his efforts.

Honourable Mentions
Nicholas Anelka (Bolton) and Gabriel Agbonlahor (Aston Villa) miss out largely due to Everton's brilliance. In midfield, Frank Lampard and John Obi Mikel (Chelsea), Steven Pienaar (Everton), Gareth Barry (Aston Villa), Lassana Diarra (Arsenal) deserve mention.

Goalkeeper: Paul Robinson
Whilst opposite number Robert Green had the last say in Tottenham’s 1-1 draw with West Ham when saving a late penalty, it was Robbo who underlined his international credentials after losing his England to place to Scott Carson, with comical consequences, for the Croatia calamity.
Right back: Olof Mellberg
The Swede is growing ever more comfortable in the full back role and was a rock in Aston Villa’s 3-0 win over Middlesbrough, however it was his expert control and finish for their second goal that had our reporter purring.
Centre back: Matthew Upson
The bearded wonder is, when fit and at his best, one of The Premier League’s most reliable defenders and Upson helped keep Robbie Keane and Dimitar Berbatov, if not Michael Dawson, at bay in a West Ham’s draw with Spurs.
Centre back: Christopher Samba
Just as sure as night follows day, Blackburn’s defensive colossus demands another place in our team of the week with his fourth selection in six weeks. Rovers did concede twice at Fulham but Samba was, as always, composed at the back and dangerous in attack. Get ready for some serious speculation around this guy in January.
Left back: Stephen Warnock
Chipping in with an important goal and supplying a succession of dangerous crosses, the former Liverpool man was the best player on the pitch at Craven Cottage and had Blackburn boss Mark Hughes tipping him for an England place - timely given Wayne Bridge's display last week.
Holding midfield: Ivan Campo
Marginalised during Sammy Lee’s brief, yet disastrous, reign at Bolton, Campo showed all the class and composure that comes from a lengthy career at the top level when helping The Trotters to record a shock 1-0 win over Manchester United on Saturday.
Right midfield: Steven Gerrard
Roundly booed at St James’ Park as the fall-out from England’s defeat to Croatia continues, Gerrard soon ensured that the wrath of the Tyneside locals was squarely directed at their manager as he rifled in a stunning free-kick to inspire Liverpool to a 3-0 win at Newcastle.
Centre midfield: Tim Cahill
The first of a Toffees triumvirate in midfield, Cahill scored twice in Everton’s 7-1 rout of Sunderland, taking his tally since his return from injury to five in seven games. Even the prospect of an away trip to Iraq in the World Cup qualifiers with Australia cannot curb his enthusiasm at present.
Centre midfield: Mikel Arteta
He may not have scored at Goodison Park, but the Basque star was on top of his game, pulling the strings and overseeing what David Moyes has described as Everton’s best performance during his reign. Arteta was the outstanding player of the weekend with a rating of 9.5.
Left midfield: Leon Osman
Making it a hat-trick for Everton, Osman saunters into our team of the week after rounding off the 7-1 victory with a stunning solo goal from the half-way line. The unheralded Englishman supplied the coup de grace in a defeat that left Roy Keane unleashing some Fergie-esque hairdryer treatment.
Striker: Yakubu Aiyegbeni
Only underlining the stunning nature of Everton’s win, Yakubu also makes our selection after bagging a brace against The Black Cats. The Nigerian served a timely reminder of his quality with Andy Johnson returning to injury.

İNGİLTERE PREMIERSHIP 15. HAFTANIN(WEEK 15) GÖRÜNÜMÜ
eurosport:
Team of the Week
Three of Arsene Wenger's French contingent, Bacary Sagna, Gael Clichy and Mathieu Flamini, are in this week's Super XI as well as the "Minsk Maradona" Alex Hleb after Arsenal's display of liquid football at Aston Villa. However a man who didn't quite make the cut with Arsenal boss Wenger, David Bentley, is the player of the weekend following his two-goal display for Blackburn against Newcastle. Steven Gerrard, Joleon Lescott and Joe Cole show their usual impressive non-international form, while Fernando Torres leads the line.
Brad Friedel (Blackburn Rovers) - 36
Bacary Sagna (Arsenal) - 35
Joleon Lescott (Everton) - 39
Martin Laursen (Aston Villa) - 38
Gael Clichy (Arsenal) - 35
David Bentley (Blackburn Rovers) - 43
Mathieu Flamini (Arsenal) - 39
Steven Gerrard (Liverpool) - 38
Joe Cole (Chelsea) - 36
Alexander Hleb (Arsenal) - 41
Fernando Torres (Liverpool) - 41
Flops of the Week
Five Bolton players in the Hall of Shame after their dismal outing at Anfield including the returning El-Hadji Diouf and Nicolas Anelka. Juande Ramos will be spending his Monday looking at Ledley King's medical status and watching videos of Liga defenders after Younes Kaboul did his latest impression of the new Titus Bramble, although the Wigan man just avoids the ignominy of featuring in this team despite his air-shot attempted clearance against Manchester City.
Jussi Jaaskelainen (Bolton) - 26
Mario Melchiot (Wigan) - 26
Younes Kaboul (Tottenham) - 20
Lubo Michalik (Bolton) - 22
Ricardo Gardner (Bolton) - 24
Giles Barnes (Derby) - 25
Leon Osman (Everton) - 27
Fabio Rochemback (Middlesbrough) - 28
El-Hadji Diouf (Bolton) - 22
Nicolas Anelka (Bolton) - 22
Yakubu (Everton) - 22
setanta sports:
Goalkeeper: Tim Howard
Everton may have trounced Sunderland 7-1 recently but Saturday’s game against Portsmouth was all about keeping it tight and their American goalkeeper did just that in the 0-0 draw as Pompey had 18 shots to no avail.
Right back: Glen Johnson
The man with a fixation for bathroom fittings helped plug Portsmouth’s defence at Fratton Park and stopped the points from going down the pan for Pompey as they made it 10 games unbeaten. Any more of this and he will be tapped up by one of the big boys.
Centre back: Matthew Upson
West Ham may have been beaten 1-0 by Chelsea, but Upson helped ensure that Avram Grant’s promises of piles of goals and joyful attacking football were not kept as The Hammers frustrated their London rivals for all of 76 minutes.
Centre back: Alex
Another key figure in the low-scoring encounter at Stamford Bridge, the Brazilian may not have exhibited his tendency for a stunning free-kick but he did go about his business quietly and effectively none the less.
Left back: Nicky Shorey
Cruelly overlooked by Steve McClaren as a woeful Wayne Bridge made a mess of the Croatia encounter, Shorey underlined his international credentials against Middlesbrough. The Reading man fared better than team-mate Ibrahima Sonko, who decided to go head-to-head with renowned gun nut Marcus Hahnemann.
Right midfield: Alexander Hleb
Cesc Fabregas may be attracting the plaudits but it could be argued that this Belarusian star has had an equally influential role for The Gunners this season. With Arsenal 1-0 down at Aston Villa, Hleb orchestrated a stylish comeback, prompting with his passes and dazzling with his dribbling.
Centre midfield: Steven Gerrard
The Liverpool skipper has hit top form recently with eight goals in his last nine games and, as ever, was a driving force in The Reds’ 4-0 win over Bolton as he scored a penalty and had a hand in his side’s other three strikes.
Centre midfield: Paul Scharner
Helping his side to overcome a calamitous error from Titus Bramble in the first minute at home to Manchester City, the quirky Austrian was an assured presence for Steve Bruce in his first game in charge of The Latics and scored the equaliser with a header after 25 minutes.
Left midfield: David Bentley
The Blackburn Rovers star shows no sign of slowing in what is rapidly becoming a superb season for the former Arsenal man. The key figure in his side’s 3-1 win over Newcastle, Bentley scored a lovely free-kick and added a well-taken second whilst David Beckham – a potential barrier to his international aspirations – was scoring in an exhibition game against Wellington Phoenix FC.
Striker: Fernando Torres
The stylish Spaniard was a cut above the rest again on Sunday in Liverpool’s 4-0 win over Bolton. Scoring his 11th goal of the season, Torres glided over the Anfield turf to underline his growing reputation as perhaps the best striker in The Premier League.
Striker: Cameron Jerome
The unkind observer may suggest that the Birmingham striker is not fit to touch Torres’ boots, let alone lace them, but he was a dangerous element for Blues as his goal helped Alex McLeish mastermind a 3-2 win over Tottenham in his first game in charge.

İNGİLTERE PREMIERSHIP 17. HAFTANIN(WEEK 17) GÖRÜNÜMÜ
Team of the Week
No surprise to see hat-trick heroes Marcus Bent and Roque Santa Cruz up front, with Bent the Player of the Week. A first away win of the season for Tottenham is enough to see three of their players make the team, including the star turn as a stand-in centre-back, Didier Zokora. Rio Ferdinand is in after repelling Liverpool.
Marcus Hahnemann (Reading) - 40
Pascal Chimbonda (Tottenham) - 34
Didier Zokora (Tottenham) - 41
Rio Ferdinand (Manchester Utd) - 42
Gael Clichy (Arsenal) - 36
Steed Malbranque (Tottenham) - 36
Tomas Rosicky (Arsenal) - 36
Owen Hargreaves (Manchester Utd) - 36
Ryan Taylor (Wigan Athletic) - 38
Marcus Bent (Wigan Athletic) - 44
Roque Santa Cruz (Blackburn) - 41
Flops of the Week
It is not often a goalkeeper who keeps a clean sheet makes the flops list, but Edwin van der Sar was truly woeful at Anfield. Brett Emerton's red card in the 5-3 defeat to Wigan makes him the Flop of the Week. Derby have three players in despite a reasonable performance against Middlesbrough, but Fulham deserve no sympathy after a collective shocker versus Newcastle.
Edwin van der Sar (Manchester Utd) - 22
Brett Emerton (Blackburn) - 19
Darren Moore (Derby County) - 21
Christopher Samba (Blackburn) - 23
Andy Griffin (Derby County) - 23
Gary Teale (Derby County) - 23
Steven Davis (Fulham) - 23
Danny Murphy (Fulham) - 22
Morten Gamst Pedersen (Blackburn) - 24
David Healy (Fulham) - 23
Clint Dempsey (Fulham) - 23
Team of the Season (minimum nine starts)
The Team of the Season has a fairly stable look, but Sol Campbell deserves praise for nudging his way into the starting XI. Cesc Fabregas once again leads the way in the Player of the Season stakes, averaging nearly 36. He overtakes Cristiano Ronaldo, who was poor against Liverpool by his very high standards.
Robert Green (West Ham) - 34.13 average
Steve Finnan (Liverpool) - 32.20
Sol Campbell (Portsmouth) - 34.00
Kolo Toure (Arsenal) - 33.82
Joleon Lescott (Everton) - 33.87
Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester Utd) - 34.25
Francesc Fabregas (Arsenal) - 35.92
Steven Gerrard (Liverpool) - 35.69
Mikel Arteta (Everton) - 34.87
Wayne Rooney (Manchester Utd) - 35.30
Ashley Young (Aston Villa) - 34.47
Idiots of the Season
Make way for another Derby player! Greg Halford has not played enough games so drops out, meaning Andy Griffin is in, with only Ibrahima Sonko in the way of an all-Rams back five. One big surprise up front is Benni McCarthy. One of the stars of last season, the South African has been left in the shade by Santa Cruz this term.
Mark Schwarzer (Middlesbrough) - 29.33
Andy Griffin (Derby) - 26.38
Ibrahima Sonko (Reading) - 27.63
Claude Davis (Derby) - 27.53
Jay McEveley (Derby) - 26.80
Craig Fagan (Derby) - 26.90
Brynjar Gunnarsson (Reading) - 27.73
Denny Landzaat (Wigan) - 28.08
Hameur Bouazza (Fulham) - 28.25
Steve Howard (Derby) - 26.18
